Kate earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from New York University in 2026. During her doctoral training, she investigated the mechanobiology of vascular and immune cells in health and disease. At the Aydogan Lab, Kate seeks to uncover the fundamental principles that govern autonomous cytoplasmic cycles and cellular organization.

Outside of research, Kate can often be found exploring the city with her camera, birdwatching, trying new restaurants, or relaxing at home petting her cats.
