Preeti completed her PhD from the IIT Roorkee, India, specializing in protein biochemistry and structural biology. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, her research focuses on discovering protein complexes at the molecular basis of how cells couple their cytoplasmic division (i.e., cytokinesis) with DNA replication and segregation (i.e., karyokinesis).

Outside the lab, Preeti enjoys spending time with friends and family over video calls, listening to music, and exploring new places.
