Amanda Hill

Amanda received her BS in biochemistry from the University of Chicago in 2024, during which she studied in MAPK pathway transcription factors in Drosophila photoreceptor development in Dr. Ilaria Rebay’s lab. She then worked on ceramide regulation in Dr. Marek Mlodzik’s lab at Mount Sinai. Her current research interests are in cancer genetics and blood cell differentiation.
Outside of the lab, Amanda enjoys rock climbing, backpacking, and endeavoring to get into trail running now that she’s in the ideal environment of NYC.
