During his time there he worked on validating protein-protein interaction networks with Dr. Jennifer Wilson and studied lipid vesicle encapsulation of RNAs in Dr. Irene Chen’s lab. He then worked at UC Berkeley with Dr. Lin He on the effects of retrotransposons in embryogenesis and ovarian aging. He is interested in the causes and effects of aging on reproductive health and embryo development.
Outside of lab, Samuel spends his time exploring NYC, working out, playing video games, sleeping, and missing his cat.
