A love of learning has shaped my life. I found my true passion in life sciences. During my years in Dr. Allan Wolkoff's Lab at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, I learned how hepatocytes remove xenobiotics and endogenous organic anion compounds by Organic Anion Transporting Polypeptides (OATPs) from circulation, and how their function is regulated by the binding partner PDZK1.
In the Aydogan Lab, I am in charge of the molecular biology, cloning, protein biochemistry, antibody generation, molecular purifications, and other advanced experimental approaches in our projects.
