Minh-Anh Bui

Minh-Anh is a dual-degree student completing her BS in Biochemistry at Simmons University and BS in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. During her time at Simmons University, she studied the effect of PFAS chemicals on serotonin and nicotinic acetylcholine signaling in C. elegans with Dr. Eric Luth. She has previously studied heavy metal contamination in urban waterways using portable XRF instrumentation with Dr. Michael Berger in 2022.

Outside of the lab, Minh-Anh enjoys photography, music, running, and has recently gotten into 3D printing. She also occasionally spends her summers volunteering with Operation Smile in Vietnam, where she has been part of surgical missions for nearly a decade.
